Exhibition Sawmill

In caring detail work a water-operated exhibition sawmill was erected featuring a so-called Venezianergatter, which was removed in Maria Luggau and re-erected bit by bit on the new site. Broken and faulty pieces had been replaced.

Additionally the sawmill displays a windmill and a mill with sawmill. These exhibits, representing for sure perfect handicraft, were built with great manual skills by the last mill master builder of Lesachtal valley – Franz Salcher – according to his ideas.
